New Black Ops 1 PlayStation Port Exploits Allegedly Enable God Mode

Yesterday’s massive patch for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 XP glitch and modded lobbies had most players breathing a sigh of relief. Unfortunately, that peace might be short-lived. Early rumors suggest an even worse exploit is looming, one that could potentially impact every single player stepping into a Black Ops 1 multiplayer match.

Black Ops port fixed.

Following the latest patch, an entirely new vulnerability has allegedly been discovered. Unlike the obvious modded lobbies of the past, this exploit is much stealthier and revolves around importing modified classes. While we haven’t seen confirmed cases of god mode ruining public matches just yet, emerging rumors and early gameplay clips suggest that god mode and invisible mode exploits are fully functional.

Over on Reddit, user Automatic_World7003 claims to have cracked the method, using external saves to load custom god mode classes. They shared footage showing their character taking zero damage while being actively targeted by a bot. To back up the legitimacy of the claim, the user also provided video evidence proving the footage was captured directly on a PlayStation 5 account.

Another Reddit user, Dazzling_Pumpkin91, shared a screenshot from a Discord server suggesting that a large number of players may have already figured out how to implement these cheats. In the screenshot, a prominent community member warned: “It seems like people have discovered god mode, invis, and scorestreak classes. You guys are very desperate to ruin the game, I recommend clowning on any person asking for this or wanting it. I would never NEVER share them and I refuse to.” If this message is true, the consequences for this port could be massive, far worse than the XP exploit that was just patched, because this would directly affect every single multiplayer game mode.

Is it broken.

Adding fuel to the fire, Reddit user MaleficentInternal75 reported another highly suspicious incident after crossing paths with a player who was actively manipulating their class loadouts directly within the live menu feed. Even more alarming, the player was able to alter their in-game stats in real time.

Changing classes.

Whether this exploit goes widespread remains to be seen, but for now, the devs of the port need to keep updating and patching exploits.
