Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight officially launched on Nintendo Switch today alongside its first major DLC expansion. Following a steady daily decline, the new release delivered a massive boost to the active player count on steam.
Over the past week and a half, typical daily peaks hovered between 500 and 650 players, a respectable baseline that slightly edged out Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga on Steam.
Just hours after the update went live, the game reached a peak of 2,556 concurrent players. Compared to the previous day’s peak of 609, this represents a 316% boost in active players. The game has not seen numbers this high since June 27th, nearly a month after launch, when it peaked at 2,943 players.
Backed by positive early reception for the update, momentum heading into the weekend could push player count numbers even higher.
