Massive 2027 LEGO Star Wars Leak Reveals Concept Art Anniversary Figures

We just got some incredible news regarding the future of LEGO Star Wars in 2027. While the first half of 2026 felt slightly underwhelming, the community recently caught a second wind with the highly anticipated AT-AT and Sandcrawler builds. Now, things are looking even brighter thanks to fresh rumors detailing the potential minifigure lineup for next year’s waves.

According to a leak from user Bricktap on Reddit, LEGO is planning a special wave of anniversary minifigures to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Star Wars franchise. The absolute coolest part about this rumor is that these figures will reportedly be based entirely on original Star Wars concept art.

This opens the door for spectacular designs inspired by Ralph McQuarrie’s legendary sketches. While the upcoming Mustafar Duel (75470) is the only set currently confirmed to include an anniversary figure, the potential for this lineup is massive. It’s the perfect opportunity for LEGO to give us never-before-seen characters, such as a BigFig-scale version of Endor’s towering legendary beast, the Gorax.

Hopefully, we will start receiving news on the rest of the lineup soon, but this is already an incredibly promising sign for the start of 2027.
